Oxygen Bottle with Fine Pore Oxygen Diffuser and Water Tanks or Barrels 

What you need:          

v  Full oxygen bottle and regulator

v  Fine pore oxygen diffuser, hose & fitting

v  Clean water tank(s) or rain barrel(s)

Refer to haul chart below for number and size of fish per gallon of water.  We carry all the equipment needed to put together a high quality hauling setup including fine pore oxygen diffusers, proper regulator fittings, splitters, airlines, handling nets and barrel liners (6mil plastic bags). 

12V Compressor with Air Stone and a Tank or Barrel

What you need:          

v  12V Continuous Duty air compressor

v  Air stone diffuser, hose and connectors

v  Clean water tank(s) or rain barrel(s) 

NOTE: We have 2 sizes of 12V Continuous Duty haul compressors, complete with airlines, fittings and air stones. 

We do not recommend $10-$20 tire compressors available at hardware stores.  Most are rated for intermittent use only and if run continuously, could overheat and stop airflow.  Air must be run continuously for safe fish hauling.  Refer to haul chart below for number and size of fish per gallon of water.  Oversized tanks are fine but numbers of fish are still limited by the output of the compressor(s).

  Sealed Bags in a Hauling Container or Barrel                                                                                                             .                    

What you need: 

v  Clean rain barrel(s) or sturdy containers

v  New plastic shipping bag (we supply)

We will only use new bags for Sealed Shipping - even a pinhole leak can shorten haul times considerably. We have containers and 6mil shipping bags for a reasonable price.

6 mil plastic barrel liner or 4mil bag is placed in barrel, plastic garbage can, or plastic container (Rubbermaid tub) Its filled with 1/3 oxygen saturated water, fish are added and last 2/3 filled with pure oxygen gas.  Bag is tied off and is good for up to 2 hours of travel. Refer to haul chart below for haul times for number and size of fish per bag.
